JOHN G. BARKER

BELDING - John G. Barker, 85, formerly of Belding, died Friday at Lowell Medical 
Care Center.

He was born on Aug. 3, 1906, the son of George and Charlotte Bower Barker at 
Lake Odessa. He was a member of Belding United Methodist Church since 1950.

He marred Audrey Hansbarger on Jan. 15, 1927, in Lake Odessa.

He is survived by his wife Audrey if Lowell; his daughter Joann Wolverton of 
Grand Rapids; his son E.Jerry Barker of Six Lakes; four sisters; Wanda Trombly 
of Largo, Fla., and Georgia Stokke, Natalie Hawkins, and Margaret Faust, of 
Phoenix, Ariz.; Six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral and committal services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Huffman Funeral Home, 
Belding, with the Rev. Nathaniel Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.

The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Memorials have been established for the Belding United Methodist Church and the 
Arthritis Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
