                          DONALD JAMES BARKER      

LANSING, MI - Donald James Barker, of Lansing, was born in St.Johns on July 31, 
1942 to William and Geraldine Barker, and passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2010 at 
his home.

He was an electrician for General Motors.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; daughters, Kathleen Barker, Geraldine Barker, 
Sarah (Tim) Chalfant, and Shaunna Barker (Steven Kinney); grandchildren, Travis 
J.Barker, Jena E.Courtier, and Emily K.Courtier; brothers, William 
(Claudia)Barker, Fred (Carole) Barker, Charles (Margaret) Barker, and Thomas 
(Diane) Barker; and sisters, Emiline (Ken) Vogle and Mary (Mike) Richardson.

Donald was a loving Uncle to many nieces and  nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, with a 7 p.m. Rosary Service 
in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W.Saginaw, Lansing.

A Memorial mass for Donald will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 
St.Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P.Klein 
presiding. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10;30 a.m. Tuesday at 
the church.
