                        NANCY KAY BARKER

Nancy Kay Barker, 58, of Hubbardston passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at 
Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Nancy was born January 30, 1952 in Ionia to George and Donna (Roberts) McGinn. 
She graduated from Ionia High School in 1970. Nancy retired from General Motors 
of Lansing after 30 years of serivie. She was a member of St.John the Baptist 
Catholic Church and UAW Local #652 Lansing. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her 
grandchildren, traveling to Texas, collecting fossils and arts and crafts. She 
will be remembered as a hard, loyal worker.

She is survived by her sons, John Baker Jr.of Hubbardston, Jarrod (Lindsey) 
Barker of Westphalia, Matt (Jennifer) Barker of Hubbardston; and four 
grandchildren, Connor, Tyler, Hunter and Levi.Also, sister Sheryl (John) 
Rutherford of St.Louis; brothers, Russell (Shirley) McGinn of Ionia, Steven 
McGinn of Texas, Mark (Linda) McGinn of Ionia, Christopher (Kathy) McGinn of 
Ionia; many nieces and nephews and close friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 
St.John the Baptist Catholic Church, Hubbardston with Fr.Tom Thompson 
officiating.Interment will be in St.John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at 
the Lux and Schnepp Fuenral Home, Carson Cit. Memorials may be made to the 
Barker Family.
