The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 6, 1944
Funeral services were held at 3:00 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Myers 
funeral home for John Barker, 91, of Easton township.  Rev. A. R. Kuehn, 
pastor of the Zion Evangelical church, officiated, and burial was in the 
family lot in the Easton cemetery.  Pallbearers were Robert McCord, Roy Bixby, 
Gerald Stitt and Henry Rathburn.
