Barlow, who died Friday, Dec. 11, was 70 years, 9 months, 9 days old. He was born in Camillas, Onondaga county, N.D., March 2, 1838. He enlisted in the Civil war May 1, 1861, and served nearly two years. On Jan. 28 he was married to Mary A. Lowry at Baldwinsville, N.Y., and soon after moved to Muir, Mich., later to Maple Rapids, where they lived six years, afterward moving to Lyons and coming to Belding about twenty years ago. For the past year he has been gradually failing in health. He was one of a family of eleven. Six years ago five of the Barlow brothers held a family reunion here. Today there are but three left, Myron H. of this city, O.G. of Portland, Ore., and W.H. of Green Lake, Kas. He leaves, besides his wife, one son, Geo. W. Barlow, and two daughters, Minnie and Edna. Rev. G.W. Maxwell officiated at the funeral held at the M.E. church Monday. [Transcriber Note: 1. There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in River Ridge Cemetery. 2.
