Portland Observer, 30 Dec 1937

A resident of Culvertown, Mrs. Cornelia Hecox Barnard, 78, died at her home 
Sunday.  Funeral services were held from the Neller funeral home, Tuesday, with 
the Rev. Helen R. Brown officiating.  Interment was in Portland cemetery.  The 
deceased was a sister of the late William Hecox.  Her husband, Walter Barnard, 
died several years ago.
