Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, June 1, 1963

Oley B. Barnard, 84, former resident of Portland area, died Friday at 
Elkhart, Ind. He was born in Orange township July 11, 1878, the son of Mr. 
and Mrs. Orange Barnard.

Survivors include a son, Glenn L. Barnard of Mishawaka, Ind.; five 
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ray Barnard of 
Portland.

The body will arrive Sunday noon at Neller funeral home in Portland, where 
service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Treat will 
officiate and interment will be at Portland cemetery.
