Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 17 Oct 1952

Frank Thadeous Barnes, 74 died at his home at 317 Delano street, South Ionia,
Friday morning, October 17.  He was born August 9, 1878, in Martin.  He had
resided in Ionia for 33 years.  For many years he worked in the former General
Motors plant in Ionia.  He had been sexton at Oak Hill cemetery for the last
three years.

Surviving him are the wife, Luella; three daughters, Mrs. Stanley Roach of
Battle Creek, Mrs. George Shepherd of Belding and Mrs. John Foley of Ionia; five
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia McClow of Orleans and Mrs. Jessie
Kingsnorth of Grand Rapids; and two brothers Ora of Grand Rapids and Hugh of Lyons.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home.  The Rev. H.S.
Ellis of Belding will conduct the funeral services.  Burial will be in Easton
cemetery.
