Robert A. Barnes, 58, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2004 in Stuart, 
Florida.  Bobby Barnes was born February 24, 1946 at Belding Hospital to Robert 
and Betty Soss Barnes.  Bobby had put up a gallant fight against multiple 
sclerosis for several years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty, who met him in heaven when he 
left to be with his beloved Lord and Jesus Christ.  He leaves behind his 
devoted wife, Chris; three sons, Pat, Kenny and Andy; two granddaughters, 
Taylor and Kristian; father and mother, Robert and Donna Barnes of Jenison and 
Haines City, Fla.; sister, Shirley Dreger of Texas; sisters and brothers-in-
law, Donna and Tom Stone of Indian River, Jennifer and Clare Thomsen of 
Clifford Lake; brothers and sister-in-law, Jim Barnes of Greenville, Harold and 
Lois Barnes of Muir; and many aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.  

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
