Daily Standard - Thursday, April 4, 1895

The funeral of Osmond T. Barnes was largely attended from the parental home, 
this afternoon, the commodious apartments being filled with sympathizing 
friends. The sermon was by Rev. Dr. Oxtoby, and Rev. W.H. Thomas, D.D., 
assisted in the services. The singing was by Mrs. C.W. Parsons, Mrs. Ed. R. 
Bailey, and Miss Isa Vosper. The service and the singing were tenderly 
appropriate throughout, and a number of magnificent floral designs evidenced 
the affection in which the deceased was held by members of the bar, young 
associates and other friends. The bearers who carried the remains to their last 
earthly resting place in Highland Park were, Wm. K. Wilson, K.R. Smith, Charles 
Cochrane and R.A. W. Cochrane.
