Orleans - Mrs. Emma Barnes, 92, of Grand Rapids died at Blodgett Memorial 
hospital Saturday, Dec. 16, after being a patient there for a few weeks. Death 
was attributed to complications arising from a hip fracture received in a fall.

Mrs. Barnes visited her family in and around Orleans and Ionia last summer.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lule McClow of Orleans and Mrs. George 
Kingsworth of Grand Rapids with whom she makes her home; three sons, Frank of 
Ionia, Hugh of Lyons and Ora of Grand Rapids; 13 grandchildren, 13 great 
grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Abbie Gibson of Lake Odessa; and a brother, 
George Huested of Newaygo.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:3o p.m. at the Eggbeen funeral home 
in Grand Rapids. Interment will be in the family lot, Palo cememtery.
