The Carson City Gazette, Thursday, October 12, 1933
Rev. Barnes passed away at the Clark Memorial Home in Grand Rapids last Friday 
and his remains were brought to Hubbardston, for burial on Sunday afternoon.  
Rev. Barnes was a preacher in the Methodist Church here about forty years ago 
and has always kept in touch with his friends.  His wife was interned here a 
couple of years ago.
