Mrs. Alma E. Barnes Dies Tuesday at Union Street Home.

Mrs. Alma E. Barnes, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Robert Williams,
210 Union street passed away Tuesday afternoon at 3:50 o’clock.  Though Mrs.
Barnes had suffered with diabetes, she had seemed to be as well as usual when
she retired Monday evening.  Tuesday morning she did not feel well and her death
occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Barnes was 81 years of age.  Her husband passed away 17 years ago.  She is
survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert Williams, of Ionia; Mrs. F.A. Jones, of
Muskegon Heights, and Mrs. R.A. Jones, of Detroit.

Funeral announcements will be made later.  Friends are asked to omit flowers.

The funeral for Mrs. Alma Barnes will be held from the residence of her
daughter, Mrs. Robert Williams, 210 Union street, Saturday afternoon at 2:30. 
Dr. W.R. Spencer will officiate.  Burial will take place in Highland Park
cemetery.  Her daughters, Mrs. F.A. Jones, of Muskegon and Mrs. R.A. Burnett, of
Detroit, are here.
