Lake Odessa Wave, 4 Jan 1951

Mrs. Anna Barnes, 83, former resident here, passed away Dec. 23, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Ogden, at Williamston, where she had resided for
several years.  She was born in New York October 2, 1867, and was the widow of
Will Barnes.  Surviving besides the daughter, are two sons, Howard of Lansing
and Clarence of Portland, and several grand children.  Funeral services were
held at St. Mary’s church, Williamston, December 26, with burial in Lakeside
cemetery, Lake Odessa.
