Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 Oct 1966

Mrs. Pearl Barnum, 78, of 1338 Johnson street, Lake Odessa passed away Friday 
at 10:45 at Pennock hospital after a long illness. She had been hospitalized 
over eight weeks.  Mrs. Barnum was born April 4, 1888 in Darke county near 
Bradford, Ohio, the daughter of Abraham and Margaret (Lehman) Warner.  On 
October 18, 1908 she was married to Perry Barnum who passed away August 8, 
1938.  She was a member of the Kilpatrick United Brethren church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Grubius of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Darrell 
Frolke of Bradford, Ohio; two sons, Clare and Blake of Lake Odessa; ten 
grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She reposes at Pickens funeral chapel.  Funeral services are Monday at 1:30 
p.m. with burial in Woodland Memorial cemetery.
