Janet Cecelia Barr, seven months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barr, Jr., of 
R. 2, was taken ill on Saturday and when her condition seemed serious, she was 
taken to Greenville hospital at 2 am Sunday and passed away at 6:30 am with 
bronchial pneumonia.

She was born June 24, 1952.  Other members of the family besides the parents are 
three brothers, Frederick James, William Lee and David Lawrence and one sister, 
Grace Marie; the maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Enbody of Belmont 
and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Fred Barr of this city.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:30 at Ellis Funeral Home, Rev. H. S. 
Ellis officiating at the service and the remains were placed in the mausoleum at 
River Ridge cemetery with final interment in Green cemetery.
