The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, March 3, 1972
Mrs. Jennie C. Barr, 80, of route 2, Belding, died Thursday morning at Belding 
Christian nursing home following an illness of several months.  Her maiden 
name was Jennie Christina Marr and she was born at Butler, PA, February 26, 
1892, and has lived in the Belding area 52 years.  She was married to Fred 
Barr August 2, 1910, and he died December 15, 195l.  Surviving are a son, Fred 
Barr, Sr. of Belding, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, 
brother, James Marr of Reno, Nev.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Charles M. Courser funeral 
home in Belding.  Rev. Raymond Haper will officiate and interment will be at 
Green cemetery, Ionia County.
