Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Aug 1960

Mrs. Quirina M. Barragan, 89, died Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Ionia County Memorial
hospital where she had been a patient two days.  She had been a resident of Lake
Odessa four years, coming here from Texas. 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J.A. Landez of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs.
Manuel Luna of Lansing; five sons, Alex of Uvalde, Texas, Fred and Rudy of
Chicago, Ill., Mike of New Laredo, Mex., and Mariano of Lake Odessa; 34
grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two sisters.

The body is at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa where the Altar society and
friends will recite the Rosary Thursday at 8 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be at 10
a.m. Friday at St. Edward’s Catholic church.  The Rev. Fr. Raymond Pattock will
sing the mass and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
