BETTY J. BARRETT
Clarksville, MI - Betty J. Barrett, of Clarksville, age 81, our loving 
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away December 13, 2019.

Born September 10, 1938 in Lake Odessa, Betty went to school for her nursing 
degree and later a phlebotomy degree. She retired from Laurels of Kent after 
many years of service. She was a member of the Jackson-Mutschler V.F.W. Post 
# 4461 of Lake Odessa, ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, bowling, 
archery, bingo, and gardening.

She was a great Mom!, and was babysitter of the Lafayette.

Surviving are her daughters, Rita K. (Donald) Ritterdorf, and Susan B. 
(Gregg) Drew; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; sisters, Mary 
Curtis and Ann (Wayne) Potter; brother, Kenneth "Jack" (Kathleen) Archer; 
aunt, Grace Kenyon; sisters-in-law, Cecelia Still, and Sharon Barrett; 
brothers-in-law, Ray Ritterdorf and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, David P. Barrett in 
February; and her parents,Kenneth G. and Rita Archer.

A luncheon honoring Betty will be noon, Friday, January 3, 2020 at the 
Jackson-Mutschler V.F.W. Post #4461. Friends may visit the guest book at
