Excerpts from Battle Creek Online Obituary
CHARLES T. BARRETT of Charlotte
Died Thursday, at Dearborn hospital where was a patient for two months.
Born November 28, 1886 in Eaton County, Mich. 
Son of Charles & Electa (Hamilton) Barrett.
A World war I Veteran & member of Greenawalt-Flaharity American Legion post.
Charles was a Machinist at the Wilcox-Gay plant in Charlotte.
Married Alta Payne on December of 1939.
Survivors are his wife, a son Bruce; two step-daughters, Mrs Frances Bishop 
and Mrs Barbara Linder, both of Dimondale; a sister, Mrs Emma McDonald of 
Charlotte.
Services by Rev.J.Ray Gillham at Pray Chapel at 2 on Monday with Military 
rites by Greenawalt-Flaharity American Legion post.
Burial at Millerburg cemetery in Carmel township.
