Beulah (Bea) Barrett, 81, passed away on July 20, 2004 at La Canada Care 
Center in Tucson, AZ. Bea, the oldest of three children, was born Dec. 10, 
1922 in Lyons to Floyd and Nettie Vincent. She was a loving and hardworking 
mother who loved laughter and music. When she lived at Desert Pueblo Mobile 
Home Park, she was very active in Happy Notes, Drama club and charitable 
organizations. She was an avid reader and crossword buff and a Jeopardy fan.

She is sadly missed by her daughters, Barbara Kirkpatrick and Beverly 
Zalewski; brothers, Larry (Gerry) and Duane (Meryl) Vincent; grandsons, Mike 
(Manette) Kirkpatrick and Greg (Wendy) Baumel; granddaughter, Melissa Finch; 
three great granddaughters and one great grandson, and numerous nieces and 
nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar; her parents; and 
her grandson, David Finch.

Memorial service will be held at Lake's Funeral Home in Ionia at 11 a.m. on 
Saturday, July 24, 2004. Refreshments will be served following the service at 
the Lyons Baptist Church.
