HAZEL V. BARROWS
IONIA-hazel V. Barrows, 68, of Ionia died Wednesday at  Blodgett Memorial Medical
Center, Grand Rapids. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Meyers Memorial Chapel.

HAZEL V. BARROWS, 68, of Ionia died Wednesday at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center, 
Grand Rapids.

She was born Nov.18, 1920, in Barryton, the daughter of Nelson and Susie Setter
White.

She was graduated from Barryton High School in 1941. She was married to Clyde L. 
Barrows on Jan. 28,1943, in Detroit. They had lived in the Ionia area since 1957. He
died Jan. 19, 1989.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ionia.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth and James Barrows, both of Ionia ; seven
daughters, Norma Glynn of Stockbridge; Mrs. Jerry (Lucy) Phelps of Florida, Mrs. Rick (Janice)
Booth of Florida, Mrs. John (Yvonne) Challender of Eaton Rapids, Mrs. Robert (Violet)
Waters of Ionia, Betty Burrows of Ionia and Mrs. Karry (Margaret) Hughes of Grand Rapids; 16 
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday from the First Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Chester 
Tanase officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Interment services will be held with
those for her 
husband whose funeral was held in January.

The family will be at Myers Memorial Chapel Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30
p.m.

A memorial for First Baptist Church has been established, in care of the funeral
home.
