Ionia Sentinel 12 October 1970
Word has been received of the death of Julius F. Basler, 91, of Garden Grove 
Calif who died there September 27.  He had been a resident of Ionia county 45 
years before moving to Ann Arbor and then west.  He was born in Keene Township 
where he was a farmer on the Basler farm 25 years.  Survivors include his wife 
and six children, 20 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Burial was 
in Magnolia cemetery in Garden Grove.
