HUMMELSTOWN, Pa - Dr. Claude M. Basler, 75 of Hummelstown, Pa. died Wednesday, 
Dec. 6, 1995.

He was a retired dentist, Eucharistic minister at St. Joan of Arc Church, Army 
Air Corps veteran of World War II, graduate of Temple University School of 
Dentistry, past president of Harrisburg Area Dental Society and of American 
Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Society, Pai Omega Fraternity, Hershey 
Knights of Columbus and Hummelstown VFW Post and Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife, Annette McGrane Basler; sons; Dr. Claude Basler, of 
Ionia and Dr. John Basler, of Bay City; daughters; Anetta Reichanbaugh, of 
Fairfax, Va. and Dr. Mary Pugmire, of Blackwood, N.J.; brother, Joseph Basler, 
of Exeter, R.I.; sister, Marion Basler, of WilkenBarre, Pa,; and six 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic 
Church in Hummelstown, Pa. and Burial will be in Hummelstown Cemetery. 
Visitation was Friday, along with a rosary and will be Saturday at the church 
from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home in Hummelstown is 
handling the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church's building fund, 359 W. Areba 
Ave., Hershey, Pa. 17033.
