Unfortunately Mrs. Bassler is dead, the coating of her stomach having been destroyed by the deadly remedy, but the woman who prescribes carbolic acid, paris green and arsenic as pleasant spring tonics is still spared to pursue her career of usefulness. – Grand Rapids Democrat.
