Services Held for Mrs. Leo L. Batchelor

Mrs. Leo Lorena Batchelor, 80, passed away early Monday morning at her home
after a long illness.  A native of Kent County, she married Frank Batchelor,
November 22, 1905 in Kent County near Lowell and moved to this area 46 years
ago.  They have lived for the past 18 years on their present farm on Ainsworth
Road.  Mrs. Batchelor’s interest was her family and the community life.

Surviving are her husband Frank; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Ila) Swanson of
rural Lowell, Mrs. Emerson (Frances) Stalter of rural Lake Odessa, and Mrs.
Donald (Eailene) Bouma of Grand Rapids; two sons, Theo of Rochester, Mich., and
Gerald of Ionia; 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a brother Clinton
Weeks of Ionia.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with
burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Rev. Robert Wessell officiated.
