Lake Odessa Wave
MRS. MAY BATDORFF DIED SAT.
  Mrs. May Estella Batdorff, 71, died in Kalamazoo, Saturday following a long
illness.  She was born March 9, 1873, northwest of Lake Odessa, where she lived 
during her early years.  Later she lived in Lake Odessa for several years.  
Most of her life, however, was spent in Grand Rapids.
  Survivors are four brothers, Emerson at Budyard, Frank at Sault Ste. Marie, Claude
in Grad Rapids and Clyde in Lansing.  Funeral services were held at the 
Wortley & Baine chapel here Tuesday afternoon and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
