                                BEVERLY A. BATES

DETROIT-Beverly A. Bates, 29, of Detroit, died Thursday morning in Henry Ford 
Hospital following accidental injuries.

She was born December 16, 1948, the daughter of John and Carol Turbett Bates and 
lived in Detroit most of her life, graduating from Dearborn High School.

Survivors include her father John of Haslett, her mother, Carol L.Smith of 
Pinckney; one sister, Carol (Chris) Kerr of Ionia; three step-sisters, four 
step-brothers; one half-brother and several nieces and nephews.

Services are Saturday at 10 am from the Peterson Funeral Home in Detroit.

Committal services are at 3 pm from the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home in Ionia with 
Rev.Jack Cook officiating.

Burial is in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
