Miss Margaret E. Batson of 839 East Lafayette street died Saturday afternoon  
at 3:40 at Taylor Convalescent Home.  She had been ill for six months.

She was born July 2, 1868 in Ionia and lived here all her life except during 
World War I when she worked as a stenographer for the government in 
Washington.  She was a member of the First Methodist church and is survived by 
three nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at Myers funeral 
home with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.  Interment will be in the family 
lot at Highland Park cemetery.
