STEPHEN JOSEPH BAUER
ELLENTON, FL. - Stephen Joseph Bauer, passed away in his sleep on April 8, 2018 at
the age of 79 years.

Born in Portland, MI, Stephen graduated from St. Patrick's high School class of '57
and served in the United States Army Reserves. Stephen was a retired General Motors 
Associate, former owner of Lake Shore Boat Rental and restaurant on Jordan Lake and

Bauer's Auto Sales/Auto Body Shop with his son in Lake Odessa, MI. Stephen was known
for his love of cars and in his youth could be found dirt track racing at Clarks
Speedway (196). Stephen enjoyed his retirement years living and golfing in the Florida sun.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Avis Bauer, his son Kurt Bauer, his
daughter Chari Burd, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Stephen's life will be held in Michigan in June-arrangements
pending.

Memorial donations in memory of Stephen can be made to Alzheimer's Research.
