Bauman, Former Blacksmith Moved to Tustin. Funeral Friday. Burial at Lakeside. Samuel P. Bauman, died at the home of his son Nelson Bauman last week Wednesday at the age of 79 years. He came to Rosina, a little town northeast of Lake Odessa 47 years ago and established a blacksmith shop. There was then a trading center withs stores, postoffice and shops necessary to care for the people's needs. He bought a farm near by the little village. In 1914 he sold out and moved to Tustin. His wife died in 1900. His house burned and he decided to reside with his children. The funeral was held at the home of his son Nelson in Sebewa where he died. Burial was at Lakeside. Other children are, Mrs. Jessie Leonard and Mrs Fred Smith of Middleville; Allen, Detroit; Henry, Kalamazoo; D.C. Howell; Mrs Elmer Wilkinson, Fenwick; and Mrs Lewis Tessman, Harrison.
