The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, November 16, 1955
Keith Baumgardner Jr., 23, died Tuesday forenoon at a hospital in Paducah, 
Ky., after a two-year illness with leukemia.  A resident of Lake Odessa most 
of his life, Baumgardner graduated from Lake Odessa high school in 1949.  He 
was employed by the Lansing State Journal for several years before he became 
ill.  Then he spent his time in Paducah with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith 
Baumgardner Sr.

Surviving besides his parents are three sister, Mrs. Eugene (Madonna) Lamble 
of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Gill Totton, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Linnea at home; 
and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Griebel, of Lake Odessa.

The body arrived at the Pickens funeral chapel Wednesday.  Services will be 
held Friday at 3:30 with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
