The Ionia County News, Thursday, August 4, 1932


Fred Baxter, a pioneer resident of Ronald township, died at his home in Palo 
about noon Saturday, July 30.  Death followed a heart attack which he suffered 
the day before.

Deceased, who was 84 years of age, leaves his widow and one son, Ernest 
Baxter, of Columbus, Ohio.  

The funeral was held from his late residence in Palo Monday afternoon and 
burial was in Palo cemetery.
