                   BAYLIS

Richard "Dick"Eddy Baylis, age 88 of Ionia,MI passed away February 4, 2024. He 
was born on August 31, 1935, in St.Johns,MI the son of Ervin and Doris (Kuhns) 
Baylis.

Dick enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting, being outdoors and gardening. He also 
enjoyed watching sports, especially MSU and the Tigers. He was a very active 
member of the DeTour Union Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife Jeannine Catlin of Ionia; daughters Dena Baylis of Lyons, 
Brenda (James) Stahl of Farmington,MI and Lisa Schafer of Lyons; grandchildren 
Bradley Stahl, Kristen (David) Faes and Jennifer Schafer; great-grandchildren 
Rilyn, Harper, Cameron, and Aiden; brothers Lloyd(Joann)Baylis of Belding and 
Tom (Judy) Baylis of Ionia, sisters Betty Vining of Kalamazoo, Diana Rowley of 
Ionia and sister-in-law, Kayleen Beellose of Eaton Rapids.He is also survived by 
many nieces an nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Evelyn Sherwood, brothers Jack 
Bayls and John Baylis, brothers-in-law Ron Vining and Vern Rowley.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later
