BAYNE LAKE ODESSA. Fredric R. Bayne, 73, of Royal Oak and Lake Odessa, died Wednesday in Pennock Hospital, Hastings. Born Feb 25, 1917, in Charlotte, he was the son of Fred and Gertrude Hickox Bayne. He was graduated from Lake Odessa High School in the Class of 1935 and attended Michigan State University and later attended the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago. He later played organ in roller skating rinks in Chicago, Toledo and Niagara Falls, and for the past 35 years had been the organist at Farm House restaurant in Hazel Park. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church of Royal Oak, was a life member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians and a member of the Detroit Federation of Musicians. He was also a member of the Wolverine Chapter of the American Theatre Organists Society. Surviving is a brother, Larry, of Newberry, and several cousins. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, with the Rev. Charles P. McCabe officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral chapel Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. Memorials have been established for Lake Odessa Ambulance and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Royal Oak, in care of the funeral chapel.
