Beach, 65, of Orleans, died Friday, Dec. 18, at his home. He was born July 28, 1922, in Orleans, the son of Orva and Anna Seidelman Beach. He graduated from Ionia High School with the Class of 1941. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was married to Beverly Coulson on March 28, 1947. He worked for the Russell McKellips garage, the Glen Peterman garage, in Orleans, and for 20 years was employed by Orson Coe as a mechanic. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and the Sheridan VFW Post, No. 5056. Surviving are his wive Beverly; six daughters, Mrs. Gene (Charlene) Face of Orleans, Mrs. Fred (Kristeen) Cooper of Ionia, Mrs. Cliff (Brenda ) Rowley of Ionia, Janet Thayer of Lowell, Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Smith of Greenville, Mrs. Richard (Beth) Smith II of Portland; three sons, Roger Beach of Bay City, Leslie and Robert Beach, both at home; and 14 grandchildren. Also surviving are: a sister, Mrs. Delmer (Evelyn) Warner of Belding; three stepsisters, Mrs. George (Violet) Schultz of Kentwood, Mrs. Adrian (Joyce) Sterzick of Lowell, Mrs. Walter (Lucy) Reeves of Orleans; two step-brothers, Victor and Fred Hull, both of Ionia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from Zion United Methodist Church, the Rev. William Dornbush and the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
