Beach, 84, who made his home at 716 South Pleasant street in Belding for the past five years, died Saturday at Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids. Born in Palo, March 12, 1893, the son of Clarence and Bertha Hendrick Beach, he lived most of his life in the Palo and Orleans areas, but made his home in recent years in Belding. He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the United States Army. Survivors include: a son, Clarence of Orleans; a daughter, Mrs. Delmer (Evelyn) Warner of Belding; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Myrtie Bailer of Ronald township. Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. from Leddick funeral home, with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh community church, officiating. Friends and relatives may visit the funeral home Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Palo cemetery.
