Beverly Mae Beach, age 75, passed peacefully on into the Lords Hands at her 
home in Orleans Twp., Saturday, August 21, 2004 with her family around her.  
She was born October 13, 1928, the daughter of Harry and Onilee (Warner) 
Couldson.  She married Clarence Beach March 28, 1947 in Palo. He preceded her 
in death in 1987.

Beverly taught country school in the Ionia County Area. She later became a 
nurse and worked for Ionia County Memorial Hospital until retiring in 1994. 
After retiring from the hospital she worked for Dr. Daniel Bauer. She was a 
member of Shiloh Community Church and Zion United Methodist Church, CIC Sunday 
school class, United Methodist Women, and Restless Ones Trailer Club. She 
managed the Ionia Free Fair Campgrounds for 36 years.

She is survived by nine children; Charlene (Gene) Face of Orleans, Kristeen 
(Chris) Benedict of Ionia, Brenda (Cliff) Rowley of Ionia, Janet (Burt) 
McKeown of Fennville, Roger (Cindy) Beach of Midland, Barbara (Dan) Clark of 
Orleans, Beth Ann Smith of Montrose, Leslie (Amy) Beach of Greenville, Bob 
(Melissa) Beach of Greenville; sister Donalee (Ron) Turner of Monroe; brother-
in-law Jack Mac Naughton of Sidney; Aunt Donna Dinning; twenty-four 
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Community Church 
with Rev. Ken Harger officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. Anyone 
wishing may make a memorial contribution to Shiloh Community Church or Ionia 
Area Hospice.
