Miss Beahan was a graduate of the St. John's High school, Hubbardston and graduated this year from the Ionia County Normal school. She was forced to leave school in May because of her illness but she was so far advanced in her studies at that time that it was possible for the school officials to issue her diploma in June when the rest of her class completed their work. She is survived by her mother, three brothers, Rev. Thomas Beahan, assistant pastor of St. Thomas parish, Owosso; Raymond Beahan, a dental student in Marquette University, Milwaukee and Bernard Beahan, a senior in the St. John's High school, and a sister, Sister Marie Claire, a member of the Dominican Order at Adrian. A sister, Clara died five years ago when 21 years of age under circumstances almost identical with the fatal illness of Miss Catherine. Funeral services were to be held Thursday morning from St. John's church.
