The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 23, 1924

Hubbardston, December 23.  Miss Clara Beahan, aged 21, died at the Hart 
hospital at St. Johns at 1 o’clock Monday afternoon following an operation 
performed a week ago for an abscess.  Miss Beahan had spent her entire life at 
Hubbardston and was the daughter of Mrs. Timothy Beahan.  She is a graduate of 
the Ionia county normal and has always taught in the vicinity of Hubbardston.

Miss Beahan is survived by her mother, Mrs. Timothy Beahan, two sisters, Miss 
Minnie Beahan, of Detroit, Miss Katherine Beahan, of Hubbardston, and three 
brothers, Bernard and Raymond Beahan, of Hubbardston, and Thomas Beahan, who 
is studying for the priesthood in Cincinnati, Ohio.  

Funeral arrangements have not been made.
