Ionia Daily Standard – Saturday, 17 August 1912
Mrs. Lucy Beal died at the home of her son-in-law, George Dodson, 134 West 
Lincoln Avenue Friday afternoon about 5 o’clock.  The funeral will be held 
from the house on Monday and the remains will be taken to Palo for burial.  
Rev. E. E. Branch will officiate.  She was 74 years of age.
