HELEN BEAN The remains of Mrs. Helen Bean, widow of the late Charles Bean, will arrive on the seven o'clock train this evening, and will be accompanied by a friend of Mrs. Bean, Mrs. Graves of Grand Rapids. The funeral will be attended at the Bradley mortuary on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. C.C. Buckner officiating, and the interment will be in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Bean has very few near relatives, the closest being two grandsons, with one of whom, Morton Welch, she has made her home in Nashville, Tenn., the other, Willis Welch, being in the army in France. Mrs. Bean was one of the old and well-known pioneer women of Ionia, and had lived here for more than forty years, for twenty-five of which, she had lived in the home on East Main street. In her early years of residence here, she was a dressmaker and milliner, well known to the older inhabitants of Ionia.
