Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Nov 1981

Richard R. Beard, 34, 437 East St., died Wednesday in a Lansing hospital.  He
was born Nov. 30, 1946, to Richard and Marie Schrauben Beard.  

Survivors include his wife, Delores; three sons, Richard, Kirk and Timothy, all
at home; two daughters, Kaye and Vicky at home; his mother, Marie, of Portland;
and a brother, Timothy of Portland.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick Church in Portland
with The Rev. James Carmody officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
