          EDITIH F. BEARD
   Edith F. Beard, born Aug. 2, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Feb. 19,
2017.
   Edith was a devoted member of Shiloh Community Church.  She enjoyed gardening,
traveling, visiting people the she thought needed a friend, and sending cards to 
people.  She especially loved her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her 
husband, Dale.  Edith is survived by her children, Dale (Heidi) Beard, Diane (Paul) 
Taylor, Mike (Peggy) Beard, Karen (Steve) Rich, Rob (Mary Ann) Beard; 13 grandchildren; 
12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jim (Maxine) Fischer.
   Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich
St., Ionia, MI.  the Funeral Service will be held at 11 am., Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at 
Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans with Pastor Shane Prewitt.  Interment 
will be in Orleans Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Area Hospice 
or Shiloh Community Church in memory of Edith.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman 
Funeral Homes.  Online condolences may be made at Welcome to Lehman Funeral Homes.
