Ionia Sentinel Standard - 7 April 1964
Funeral service for Mrs. Mable H. Beattie of 522 West Washington street, who 
died Friday at her home, was conducted Monday, the Rev. John W. Tennyson 
officiated and interment was at Higbee cemetery.

Bearers were Donald Faulkner, Fred Tafel, Jr., Donald Hill and G. M. Bliss.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hill of Middleton, Cheryl 
Faulkner of Kalamazoo, Mr. and Mrs. Olney Maynard of Muir, Mrs. Ted Sherwood of 
Carson City, Mrs. Mabel Beasley of Jackson, Leonard Beasley of Detroit, Mr. and 
Mrs. Webb Burnsworth, William H. Bruner and Mrs. Ruby Bruner of Flint.
