Y., Feb. 22, 1827 and passed to the higher life on Feb. 16, 1913 at the home of H. F. Voelker, Ionia City, where she lived with her niece Admyra. She moved with her parents to Oakland county thence to Keene township, in 1834, having spent 79 years in Ionia county. She was a member of the Methodist church, lived a consistent Christian and died rejoicing in the faith. She is the last of a family of eight children, and was a kind, faithful daughter, sister and aunt. She will be missed from the home, but our loss is her gain. Funeral services were held at the home of H. F. Voelker, Rev. Dr. Callen officiating, on Tuesday. Burial in Pinckney cemetery. Miss Margaret Beattie, aged 86 years, died on Sunday afternoon, the result of complications growing out of a fall down the cellar stairs just one week before. She was the aunt of Miss Admira Beattie, housekeeper for H. F. Voelker, 706 West Main St., the home where the accident and death occurred. Funeral on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from this home, Rev. Dr. Callen officiating. Interment in Pinckney cemetery, Keene township.
