Ionia County News-Thurs. Dec. 12, 1940

PETER BEAULEAUX
Peter Beauleaux, 86, died at the home of his son, Glenn Beauleaux, at 631 W.
Williams street, Belding, Thursday morning. 

Mr. Beauleaux was born at Eberside, Canada, November 16, 1854, came to United
States, locating at Lakeview, Michigan, when 21 years of age, and after living in that
vicinity for 45 years came to Belding in 1920 and secured employment in the Belding Basket factory,
working there for a number of years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church
of Belding.

Surviving are two sons, Glen of Belding and Jay of Muskegon; one sister, Agnes
Gerard, of Owosso and six grandchildren.

The body reposed in state at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home here until about 9:30
Saturday morning. Friday evening at 8:30 the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's church recited
the Rosary. Saturday morning at 10:o'clock the funeral service was held in the church.
Rev. R.J.Kelly officiated and burial was in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery in Belding.
