Ionia Sentinel - Standard
Mrs. Margaret Bechtel, 57, of route 1, Clarksville died Friday at Blodgett 
Memorial hospital in Grand Rapids following an extended illness.  She was born 
at Moline, July 25, 1914, the daughter of John B. and Carrie Manchester Alman.  
She was a 1932 graduate of Wayland High School and attended Clarksville Bible 
church.  She was married in Leighton township, Allegan county, November 25, 1938 
to Orley L. Bechtel and he died March 7, 1968.  

Surviving are three daughters, Charlotte Bechtel of Lava Springs, Idaho, Donna 
and Bonnie at home; two sons, LeRoy of Rushville, N.Y. and Steven of 
Germonsville, Pa; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Anderson of Middleville.

Mrs. Bechtel will be at Pickens funeral chapel in Clarksville until noon Monday 
when she will be taken to Clarksville Bible church for funeral services at 1:30 
pm.  Rev Elwood Norton will officiate and interment will be at Clarksville 
cemetery.
