Daily Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Jan. 27, 1950

Funeral services for Jacob Beck, 41, who died Sunday in Butterworth hospital, 
were held Wednesday afternoon from the Meyers funeral home.

Burial was in the family lot in Balcom cemetery with Dr. Paul L. Stewart 
officiating.

Pall Bearers were Lynn Morris, Frank Piselli, Kenneth Passmore, Glenn Hooper, 
George Witzel and Nelson Yeiter. 

Persons from out of town attending the service included Mr. and Mrs. Phillip 
Beck of Holt, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Beck of Holt, Mrs. E. W. Steiner and Mrs. 
Ralph Pavelka of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Musser of Benton Harbor, Mrs. 
Alex Nagy of Flint and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vargo and Henry Scholten of Grand 
Rapids.
