Mrs. Lulu B. Beckhold, 60, died Saturday afternoon, May 22, at 4 p.m. at her 
farm home on Route 2, following a long illness.  She was born October 22, 
1893, in Odessa township, the daughter of Benjamin and Ella Koutz.  She lived 
all of her life in the Odessa area and had lived at her present farm home 
since her marriage 37 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; two sons, Richard of Route 1, Woodland, 
Fredrick of Route 2, Lake Odessa; one brother, Alvin Koutz of Route 2, Lake 
Odessa and two grandchildren.

The body reposes at Pickens funeral chapel where services will be held Tuesday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Delores Lobdell, pastor of East Odessa 
Weslyan Methodist church, officiating.  Bearers will be Phares Courtney, Dale 
Shetterly, Elmer Gunderman, Irvin Hall, Donal Bippley, William Possehn.  
Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
